Shakespeare and the Revolution

July 11 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Free

Shakespeare Fellow Jack Krepps will present “Shakespeare and the Revolution.” Jack is part of the American Revolution & Constitution History Project at San Diego State University. In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, Jack has conducted exclusive research on the impact of Shakespeare and his works on the Founders and on early American society as a whole. Further, he has evaluated the correlation between Shakespeare and the events that unfolded in 1776, as well as existing Shakespearian notions regarding “independence” and other relevant governmental issues.
