The San Diego Shakespeare Society
Celebrating the Bard's Works Since 2002
**NEW: Add your event to our Calendar**
You are invited to participate in this unique online workshop for actors, directors and lovers of Shakespeare. Our focus will be on text, character and the relationship between the actor and the audience. We’ll work on a selection of Richard’s monologues in RICHARD III. Each week, we will explore one of Richard’s speeches. We will dig into the text, the character and his relationship with the audience. We will be working up and on our feet with Vocal/Physical explorations, text “games” and more shaped by the Michael Chekhov approach.
Online course led by Max Hefler and guest Liz Shipman
We will be meeting for 4 Saturdays from 10am-12pm PST/6-8pm Irish Time—4/15, 4/22, 4/29 and 5/6
For additional information, email or call 646-226-1903. Email chekhovtpi@gmail.com if you wish to book a place or have any questions to ask.
