After a hiatus of two years, the Society is proud to announce the resumption of the Mock Trial project. On Sunday, November 7th at 2:00 p.m., at the Coronado Library, The Court-Martial of Brutus will take place. Our premise is that Brutus is captured alive at the Battle of Philippi and put on trial by a military commission for his role in the assassination of Julius Caesar. Brutus pleads not guilty by reason of temporary insanity due to psychological manipulation by Cassius and the prevailing mass hysteria of the time.Cast and participants:

This event is free and open to the public and will also be streamed. The approximate running time is 90 minutes. Audience members in attendance must wear masks throughout regardless of vaccination status.
